China, Russian e-commerce firms work together


Beijing, Nov 7 (IANS): Chinese e-commerce platform xbniao.com has signed an agreement with Russia's B2B-Centre platform.

According to the agreement signed on Thursday in Beijing, Chinese companies can open stores at the B2B-Centre, one of the largest e-commerce platforms in Russia, and the purchasers can seek business opportunities through xbniao.com, Xinhua reported.

Founded in 2014, xbniao.com focuses on cross-platform services for buyers and sellers through integration of B2B and B2C.

B2B-Centre has 230,000 corporate clients from more than 100 countries. Its transaction volume reached $27 billion last year.

In 2014, bilateral trade between China and Russia hit a new high of $95.3 billion with e-commerce contributing $two billion.
