Thermax net profit declines by 24.62 percent in Q2


Pune, Oct 28 (IANS): Energy and environment solutions provider Thermax said on Tuesday its net profit for the quarter ended September 30, to Rs.64.83 crore as compared to Rs.86.01 crore in the same period last year.

According to the standalone audited financial results posted on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), the company's total income from operations declined to Rs.1,056.54 crore in this period from Rs.1,157.12 crore recorded last year while total expenses also declined to Rs.972.59 crore from Rs.1,053.10 crore.

Thermax Group is a Rs.5,516 crore company offering a range of engineering solutions in 75 countries, and its eco-friendly business solutions include absorption cooling, air pollution control, chemicals, boilers, heating equipment, power generation, solar and waste water treatment and recycling among others.
