New Delhi, Oct 27 (IANS): Actress Aanchal Khurana, who came into the limelight after she won the eighth season of “Roadies”, says she is “dying” to be part of more reality shows as she likes performing stunts and is “not scared of anything”.
“I'm dying to do a reality show. I love doing them. My dream role is that I want to do a travelling show where I play a character which keeps on going from here to there,” Aanchal, who is currently seen in soap opera “Sarojini”, told IANS.
“'Nach Baliye', 'Bigg Boss', 'Khatron Ke Khiladi' and 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa' -- I have these four reality shows on my wish list. I want to be a part of them all.
“My first priority is 'Khatron Ke Khiladi' because I come from a 'Roadies' background. So I love doing these stunts. Even on the set of 'Sarojini', I do stunts on my own whenever I'm asked to. I'm not scared of anything whether it is height, water, fire or anything,” she added.
Aanchal, who has also appeared in shows like “Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke”, “Savdhaan India”, “Arjun” and “Aahat”, says she never makes preparations for her roles and likes to read the script 15 minutes prior to shooting to give her character a real look.
“I usually never do preparations for my roles. I just take things as it comes. I never read scripts in advance also because I love to read the script 15 minutes before the take. I feel that if I'll keep learning scripts again and again then it will become mechanical and will not look like a one take shot,” she said.
However, for her role of Mannu in “Sarojini”, which airs on Zee TV, Aanchal had to prepare herself as she calls the character challenging.
“In this character I've been working around because she faces too much problem while speaking English. She tries to include English words within her lines. So it becomes difficult sometimes to speak a sentence fluently. Though she is a grey shade character, she has a comic feel. So I've to be entertaining every time.
“I took up this show because I wanted to play 'Bond' like characters,” she said.
“Sarojini” also stars Shiny Doshi, Mohit Sehgal, Pankaj Tripathi and Ketki Kadam among others.
