Los Angeles, Oct 27 (IANS): Singer Adele will be making her return to "Saturday Night Live" as a musical guest on November 21 when "Interstellar" actor Matthew McConaughey hosts.
This will be the first time Adele appears on the show since making her "Saturday Night Live" debut in 2008 with a performance of “Chasing Pavements”, reports ew.com.
Before that, the British singer hadn’t broken through in the US just yet - but her debut album, that year’s "19", made it to the top spot on iTunes the day after "Saturday Night Live".
Since then, Adele has won an Oscar for “Skyfall”, the theme song she wrote and performed for the 2012 James Bond film of the same name, and 10 Grammys.
After staying out of the spotlight for a bit, Adele made her official return last week when she released new single "Hello".
As for McConaughey, it’s been a bit longer since he’s appeared on the SNL stage. The actor last hosted in 2003, back when he was more known for starring as the male lead in romantic comedies like "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days" and "The Wedding Planner".
