Seoul, Oct 27 (IANS): Seoul shares opened lower on Tuesday. The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) lost 9. 93 points, or 0.48 percent, to trade at 2,038.15 in the first 15 minutes of trading, reported Xinhua.
The South Korean currency was quoted at 1,130.8 won against the US dollar, up 3.0 won from Monday's close.
