New Delhi, Oct 26 (IANS): "Sultan" director Ali Abbas Zafar was scouting locations for his forthcoming Salman Khan-starrer here when an earthquake rocked the city.
The director took to Twitter to share his experience as he posted: “Location scouting Delhi for @SultanTheMovie and rocked by the #earthquake... Well action is about to begin.”
He also shared an image of India Gate with people gathering around the landmark.
Delhi and neighbouring areas were hit by a 7.5 Richter Scale quake, with its epicentre in Afghanistan, which jolted large parts of Afghanistan, Pakistan and northern India. The tremors led to panic among people.
Produced by Aditya Chopra under his Yash Raj Films banner, "Sultan" is reportedly based on the life of a wrestler and the "Dabangg" star will be seen in the lead role. His leading lady in the film is yet to be announced.
The film, which is scheduled to release on Eid in 2016, has already taken Zafar to Punjab and Los Angeles. Even Salman has gone the Aamir Khan way and is beefing up for the role as he had told IANS earlier that his fans can expect to see him in "double size" in his "Sultan" big screen outing.
