Bengaluru, Oct 19: A delegation of Guruvayanakere Nagarika Seva Samithi and like-minded associations met Karnataka chief minister Siddaramaiah and urged him to take action against those who reflect the pro people programmes of Dr Veerendra Hegade in bad light and make derogatory remarks against them.

They brought to the notice of the chief minister that there is a stay order at Belthangadi Munsif Court on propaganda against Heggade and that Nagarika Seva Trust and others are spreading lies about him. The departments in Dakshina Kannada who should take action against them are incapable, causing anxiety to crores of Dharmastala devotees. This may turn to massive protests, they said.
