68-year-old found dead in Verna drain

Panaji, Oct 17 (TOI): The corpse of a 68-year-old woman was found in a drain at Verna on Tuesday. An investigation revealed that she died of high blood pressure and other problems.

The Verna police received a call about the woman, identified as Luiza Correira, wife of Robert Correira was lying in the drain. The investigation revealed that Luiza was a diabetic. The police conducted a panchanama at the site and sent the body to GMC, Bambolim for a postmortem.
