Two Chinese firms sign MoUs with Telangana


Hyderabad, Oct 16 (IANS): Two Chinese companies on Friday signed MoUs with Telangana government for setting up a prefab concrete manufacturing factory and for dry port solutions.

The MoUs with Sany International Housing and Sany Heavy Industry were signed during a meeting the representatives of Chinese companies led by Sany Group of Companies had with Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao, ministers and other officials here on Friday night.

The meeting was a follow-up to the chief minister's visit to China last month.

The 45-member delegation consisted of investors, heads of construction firms and others having interest in the development activities in Telangana. The delegation included Sany Group chairman Liang Wengen, president Tang Xiuguo, vice president Duan Dawei respectively and Sany India director and CEO Deepak Garg.

A short video presentation on the advantages of Telangana for investment was shown to the delegation, highlighting opportunities in dry ports, power generation, power distribution, coal mining, social housing, road development and logistic parks.
