Los Angeles, Oct 11 (IANS): Actress Brie Larson is in early negotiations to headline Lionsgate's "The Glass Castle".
Actress Jennifer Lawrence was to take on the role originally but she was forced to leave the project after the studio had difficulty in finding the male lead, reports variety.com.
If Larson takes up the project, it will reunite her with director Destin Cretton.
He has directed the critically acclaimed drama "Short Term 12" where Larson earned early awards consideration.
The "Tanner Hall" actress will next be seen in drama thriller "Room". She is also eyed to play Billie Jean King in Fox Searchlight's "Battle of the Sexes".
