Los Angeles, Oct 10 (IANS): Singer Nick Jonas has released the music video of his song "Area code" on YouTube.
The black-and-white video sees the 23-year-old singer sulking in the rain while belting out the song, reports aceshowbiz.com.
The track is a continuation of Jonas' more mature musical stylings.
The lyrics contain some NSFW language including "I'm f***ed up, you don't even know", alcohol references "Yeah, all this liquor bringing out the truth" and plenty of sexual innuendo "You can't deny I gave it good to you."
When "Area code" was first released in September, there was speculation that the song was about Jonas' ex Selena Gomez.
At that time, some fans were speculating that the "Jealous" hitmaker was making a reference to Gomez's latest hit "Good for You" when he sings, "You say I never been good for you/You can't deny I gave it good to you."
Jonas only fuelled the rumours when he later "favourited" a couple of fans' tweets that related his song to Gomez.
"When u hang out with Selena Gomez," read one tweet, while another said, "Oh my gosh. Nick. Selena. Never thought I'd be saying this again! Area Code references 'Good for You'."
