Panaji, Oct 7 (TOI): The state government appointed special public prosecutor in the Louis Berger bribery case, Rajeev Gomes, on Tuesday, filed a complaint against former PWD minister Churchill Alemao's daughter Sharon for allegedly threatening him in court premises, a charge she denied.
Gomes, on Tuesday opposed the bail application filed by Alemao in the special court. Gomes said that after the matter was over and when he was moving out of the court, Alemao's daughter, pointing towards him, said "I will take care of this guy."
Gomes rushed to Panaji police station and filed a written complaint against Alemao's daughter. "Today at around 1pm, after the hearing of my father's bail application before the special judge, at Panaji, I had no occasion to meet Gomes as I along with my sisters followed our lawyers and as such I had absolutely no occasion to either meet or to speak to Gomes," Sharon told police.
