Ponda, Jul 18: Ponda police here arrested one Saubhagya Mishra (21) native of Orissa, in connection with elopement with a teenaged girl, also from Orissa, by misguiding her.
The accused had take taken shelter in Bethora Industrial area, in rented house of his friend.
Parents of this girl had lodged a complaint with Orissa police, and they had contacted all the police stations with her photographs. Ponda police upon receiving the photo and a tip-off of the same raided his rented place and arrested him.
Ponda police then contacted her parents, and they soon reached Goa to take their daughter back home.
