Mumbai, Sep 27: Producer Dibakar Banerjee has announced that he will be releasing another trailer to his soon to be released movie Titli, in the near future. The director felt that the original trailer was not one that the Indian audiences were able to relate to and therefore a whole new trailer to be released nationwide.

The producer said, "Due to the immense international success of Titli our first Indian trailer was still in the shadow of the international marketing strategy, where the film was positioned as an intense, bold thriller about a bunch of car- jackers who happened to be a family."

He also revealed that the initial trailer did not seem to vibe well with the select group of people who saw it and therefore the makers have decided on making a entirely different trailer for national viewing. Dibakar stated that, "But when we showed the new cut to our focus group audiences in India, their reaction was a revelation! They said, 'this is a family film, so why is the trailer like this?'. They completely connected with the core of Kanu (Behl) and Sharat's (Katariya) story!"

Dibakar who is known for directing 'Khosla ke Ghosla' said about Titli that, "at its core it's a very identifiable story of a young boy coming to grips with the dynamics of his family and struggling to become a man." He added that, "Every Indian who has a family and has to take on responsibility for it at a stage in his life, every Indian boy or girl who have quarrelled with their parents and wanted to run away, every parent exasperated by their child - will get this!". The story is one that portrays the apparent struggle of a of the car jackers who wants to get out of the suffocation of his family and family business, like a trapped butterfly.
