Kuwait: KIFF to host sports meet as part of Fraternity Fest

Kuwait, Sep 16: Kuwait India Fraternity Forum has scheduled to conduct 'Sports Meet' as part of the fraternity fest in September and October. The competitions will be held in 2 phases.

The event kicks off with the opening ceremony at Shabab Riyada ground Fahaheel on September 18 at 3.30 pm followed by tournaments in football, volleyball and kabaddi.

The 2nd phase will be held at Gulf University of Science and Technology (GUST) grounds, Mishref on September 25 at 2 pm.

Football, volleyball, kabaddi, tug of war and athletics are part of the sports meet in which popular teams are already confirmed their participation. The program convener, Faisal Atholy informed that the public will be given opportunities to witness this grand event. Arrangements are made for separate fun games for women on September 25.

KIFF president, Saifudheen Nalakath stated that as part of the 'Fraternity Fest' an 'Anti-Drugs Campaign' is also scheduled to be conducted in October.
