Mumbai, Jul 7: The Kasturba Marg police on Friday found the body of a 70-year-old woman said to be that of a beggar lying near a gutter close to Uma restaurant in Borivli east.
Cash worth Rs 14,575 was found tied to the dead woman’s saree. The police are now trying to find out the source of the money.
“We are finding out the reasons behind the woman’s death and also checking if she had robbed the money,” said a policeman from Kasturba police station.
