Los Angeles, Sep 11 (IANS): Filmmaker Joseph McGinty Nichol, popularly known as McG, has been roped in to direct upcoming horror comedy film “The Babysitter”.
McG, known for directing films like “Charlie's Angels” franchise and “Terminator Salvation”, was originally set to only produce the film, but he decided to add directing to his duties on the project in order to realise his vision for the script, reports variety.com.
The film follows life of a twelve-year old boy and his babysitter on a night when things take an unexpected turn for the worst.
McG has been very active on the producing front with films like “The DUFF” and “Before You Go”, but hasn’t helmed a film since “3 Days to Kill”, which was released in 2014.
