Jake Gyllenhaal's 'Demolition' debuts first trailer

Los Angeles, Sep 10 (IANS): The first full trailer of Jake Gyllenhaal-starrer "Demolition" has arrived.

The movie follows a successful businessman (Gyllenhaal) who tries to get his life back after losing his wife in a tragic car accident, reports aceshowbiz.com.

Struggling after losing his wife, Davis, Gyllenhaal's character in the film, thinks that the only way to get beyond his past is to destroy everything in his world and just start rebuilding it.

Davis finds himself in desperation after his lovely wife dies. He begins his path to redemption through an unlikely way he never thought he found.

Disappointed that he cannot get a pack of chocolate chips, Davis writes a complaint letter to a vending machine company which eventually turns into a series of letters telling his personal life and feelings.

It becomes a way to get his life back as Davis' letters catch the attention of customer service representative Karen (Naomi Watts). With the help of Karen and her son (Judah Lewis), Davis starts the process of tearing down his life.

Directed by Jean-Marc Vallee, the film is set to premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) on Thursday and will have a limited release in US on April 18, 2016.
