Sant Joan Despi (Spain), Sep 9 (IANS): FC Barcelona goalkeeper Marc Andre Ter Stegen, who will start next Saturday because of Claudio Bravo's injury, resumed practising on Wednesday as many of his teammates slowly returned from international duty.
The 23-year-old German international Ter Stegen arrived a day after Belgian defender Thomas Vermaelen, Crotian midfielder Ivan Rakitic and Turkish linkman Arda Turan, reports Efe.
The next to return will be the Spanish internationals, while the last to show up will be Argentines Lionel Messi and Javier Mascherano, and Brazilians Neymar and Rafinha.
The team will train again on Thursday at 11:00 a.m., but the main question for manager Luis Enrique is whether Sergi Roberto, who injured his hamstring, will be ready for the game against Atletico Madrid.
The youth graduate had replaced right back Dani Alves, who injured himself during the first leg of the Spanish Supercup.
