Mumbai, Aug 31: Music director and singer Aadesh Srivastava is in hospital battling Cancer yet again after mere 3 years of having last defeated the disease. The composer has been in Kokilaben Dhitubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai, for the past couple of weeks, while his family kept his condition away from the public attention.

Singer Lata Mangeshkar had tweeted her solidarity to the composer on the micro-blogging site, saying, "Mujhe aaj pata chala ki Sangeetkar Aadesh Shrivastava ji ki tabiyat kharab hai.Main unki acchi sehat ke liye ishwar se prarthana karti hun." His brother-in-law Lalit Pandit, reportedly told the media, "Aadesh is in hospital for the last 41 days. His cancer has relapsed. It is growing at a rapid stage. He is right now in critical condition... he is serious. The injections of new technology that were brought from America have not worked much on him. Blood palates are low so that reduces the chance of surgery. The doctors are trying their best."

While the family requested for privacy, Lalit Pandit also added, "I am with the family in the hospital. We are praying for him." Diagnosed with blood cancer in 2011, the 'Gustakhiyan' singer had managed to heal successfully with the help of medications. Reportedly, at the time, Aadesh had been quite unhappy after the fact that the film industry had not shown any support in such a critical time for himself as well as his family. Singers Sonu Nigam, Shantanu, Shekhar Suman, lyricist Prasoon Joshi and director JP Dutta visited the ailing music director.
