Yuki Bhambri reaches singles semis of Challenger event

Vancouver, Aug 22 (IANS): India's Yuki Bhambri reached the singles semifinal and the men's doubles final of the Odlum Brown Vanopen Challenger level tennis tournament to cap off a memorable day.

Yuki eked out a close 6-4, 6-4 win in the singles quarterfinal match at the $100,000 event here on Friday.

Yuki next plays against Israel's Dudi Sela.
