Udupi, June 17: A memorandum of understanding (MOU) was signed on Saturday, June 16 between the Nitte Education Trust (NET) and the University of Pennsylvania; USA, rated one of the best American Universities.
While NET was represented by its president N Vinay Hegde, the University of Pennsylvania was represented by Ram. A Canaan, Associate Dean for research and doctorial education, School of Social Policy at a glittering function organized at the campus of Nitte Institution.
The MOU will in the beginning deal with disciplines like MBA, MCA and Engineering streams. The basic tenets of the MOU were exchange of faculties, students exchange and collaborative research programmes, in addition to joint consultancy programmes. Indeed a red letter day for the Nette Education Trust.
