Aug 20, (Emirates 247): Three women wearing traditional Gulf abaya (gown) were caught on camera stealing jewelry from a gold shop but they were not discovered by the owner.
A U-Tube film published by Kuwait’s daily Alanba showed the women were checking collections of necklaces on small white boards as they waited for the workers to be detracted by other customers inside the shop.
Just as one worker turned towards another female customer, the veiled woman in the middle stealthily carried one board and dumped it inside her bag.
The woman was caught in the act on camera but it was too late when the shop owners saw the film, according to the paper, which did not mention in which Gulf country the incident took place.
