Mangalore, Jun 14: A vehicle that was transporting cattle illegally was intercepted at Moodbidri near here on Thursday June 14.
According to reports, the police suspected a passing Maruti Omni of carrying the cattle and began chasing it. But the culprits managed to escape. However, they were later caught by the police who also seized the car and 10 cattle including a calf.
Three people were arrested in this regard but some of the accused are still at large.
