Mangalore, Jun 13: Mohan Kumar Kumblekar, general secretary of Natya Niketana Suvarna Mahotsava Samiti said that the golden jubilee celebration of the Samiti will be held on Saturday June 16 at Town Hall here.
Harikrishna Punaroor, former president of Kannada Sahitya Parishat and Capt Ganesh Karnik, MLC will be the chief guests, he said at a press meet here on Tuesday June 12. A Ishwaraiah, Udayavani chief editor will preside over the programme and Vittal, a dance master will inaugurate the programme.
He further said that Amruth Someshwar, a literature professor will be felicitated on the occasion. A Tulu dance ballet “Eluver Deyyar” will be staged by the students of Natya Niketana.
In the month of December ‘Nrithyotsava’ will be held for a week in the district as part of the golden jubilee celebration, Kumblekar said.
