Kundapur, Jun11: Shree Lakshmiwarateertha Swamiji of Udupi-Shiroor Math swam along with him boy wonder Harshith Kharvi for almost an hour in the Panchagangavali near Kharvikeri here on Sunday June 10.
The programme had been organized by Shree Mahakali Temple, Kharvikeri, Vidyaranga Mitra Mandali, Mahakali Mahila Mandali and Kundapur Jaycee wing.
Harshith Kharvi was recently featured in ‘Shabbash India’ programme when he swam almost 25 kilometres in the raging sea hand-cuffed.
Later Harshith was felicitated by Shree Lakshmiwarateertha Swamiji. Speaking on the occasion he said that he is highly impressed by Harshith’s achievement on debut. “He could achieve this at such a tender age because of his single-minded approach and dedication. Let us take a leaf out from him and achieve greater things in life,” Swamiji advised.
Young entrepreneur and Congress leader Pramod Madhwaraj presided over the function.
