Bengaluru, Aug 11 (IANS): KSCA XI expectedly entered the final of the All-India cricket tournament here on Tuesday defeating Vidarbha CA by seven wickets on the fourth and final day of their encounter.
Trailing by 66 runs on the first innings, Vidarbha collapsed to 115 with paceman Abhimanyu Mithun grabbing 4/38.
Requiring to get just 50 runs for victory, KSCA XI came through quite comfortably despite losing three wickets and set up a title clash with Dr. D.Y. Patil Academy, Mumbai, who beat Haryana CA by six wickets on Monday.
Brief scores: Vidarbha CA 352 and 115 all out in 38 overs (Abhimanyu Mithun 4/38, Zeeshan Ali Sayyed 3/15) lost to KSCA XI 418 and 52 for 3 in 12 overs by 7 wickets.
