Mumbai, Aug 10 (IANS): Ewald Notter, a Florida-based World Pastry Champion, is in India to conduct a workshop for enthusiastic pastry makers, and he says it's one of his favourite destinations.
The workshop has been organised here by the Academy of Pastry Arts India.
“I have travelled to India earlier also as it is one of my favourite destinations and I love indulging with the young crowd, who aspire to become the best pastry chefs in the growing baking industry,” Notter told IANS.
The four-day workshop will focus on chocolate, praline and candy making.
Notter will teach the basic methodology of ingredients, molded chocolates, creating transfer sheets, tempering techniques and many other aspects.
The event will be held from August 11-14 at Callebaut Chocolate Academy here.
“It is my pleasure and I'm glad that I could refine the skills of the aspiring pastry chefs so that they become professionally sound in the baking industry and can come at par with their global counterparts,” said Notter.
