Shanghai, Aug 4 (IANS): Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone said that one of his future goals is to train the Argentine national football team. But for the time being, he is entirely focused on his Spanish club and described Argentina's current manager Gerardo Martin as "a great coach".
Ahead of the team's Shanghai SIPG friendly here on Tuesday, Simeone mused that perhaps fate would give him the opportunity to coach Argentina one day, though he lauded the current coach for getting the best out of every player, reports Efe.
When asked about his sons, especially Giovanni, who plays for Banfield on loan from River Plate, the Atletico coach said he hopes they are happy, honest and committed to what they do.
