Los Angeles, Aug 4 (IANS): Hollywood star Will Smith has shot down rumours that he and his wife Jada Pinkett Smith are getting divorced.
The 46-year-old assured his fans on Facebook on Monday that he and his wife of 17 years, whom he lovingly refers to as his "Queen", ever decided to part ways, reports people.com.
"Under normal circumstances, I don't usually respond to foolishness. (Because it's contagious)," Smith wrote.
"So, in the interest of redundant, repetitious, over & over-again-ness... Jada and I are...NOT GETTING A DIVORCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!" he added.
Pinkett Smith also addressed divorce rumours in an interview with American Way Magazine.
She said: "Every year there's a new (divorce rumour), and I'm like, 'Here we go. Get ready. Are ya holdin' on tight?' "
"Marriages go through shifts. And relationships go through shifts because in life things shift. So people are automatically like, 'What's going on? They must be getting a divorce.' Well, no. But when people feel those shifts and there's a mystery, they have to fill it with something,” the 43-year-old actress said.
