Mangalore, May 30: A boat in which four fishermen had gone fishing developed a crack while on sea near Ullal here on Tuesday May 29. However, all four managed to swim ashore and are safe.
The fishermen, hailing from Kundapur, had gone fishing around 3 am on Monday and the boat which they were in developed a crack around 5 am on Tuesday, said the locals. By 5.30 am, the fishermen managed to reach the shore.
The damaged boat belonged to a certain person from Kodi. The boat was reportedly more than 15 years old.
