Bengaluru, July 24 (IANS): Rookie Amandeep Drall registered her first professional victory on the Hero Women’s Professional Golf Tour when she won the 12th leg at the Prestige Golfshire with a one-over 217 total after the final round here on Friday.
After several good performances and three runners-up finishes, Amandeep finally secured the elusive win with a total of 217 after 54 holes. With this win, she has now consolidated her position at the second place in the Order Of Merit with total earnings of Rs.8,84,935 from 12 appearances.
The Panchkula youngster carded one-over 73 in a birdie-free round with a lone bogey on the first hole. Vani Kapoor carded 73 to finish second with a total of 218.
Kolkata’s Neha Tripathi got a 74 to end with a total score of 221 and finished third.
Sharmila Nicollet, Kapurthala’s Gursimar Badwal and amateur Trisha Sunil ended with identical totals of 225 to finish tied fourth.
Delhi’s Ankita Tiwana ended with a total of 230 to finish seventh. Pune's Shweta Galande and Chandigarh's Saaniya shared the eighth spot with identical totals of 233.
