TSKK media release

Alto Porvorim, May 24: Thomas Stephens Konknni Kendr (TSKK), Porvorim recently released a Konknni one-act play titled "Zudas" in Roman script.

This play is based on the life of Judas Iscariot, a character from the Bible and one of the twelve apostles of Jesus Christ.

Judas Iscariot was the son of Simon Iscariot and he is believed to have betrayed Jesus for thirty silver coins. Fr Pratap Naik SJ of TSKK has written book.

By his creative skill of writing and with original thinking, the author tries to reveal the other side of the character of Judas. He tries to understand the act of Judas through his social, religious and political point of view.

In this play Judas tries to explain to his audience different possible dimensions of his actions. Judas is the sole character that appears on the stage and he exchanges dialogues with his audience.

The play is written for light, sound and visual media presentation. The play was highly appreciated by the audience at Mangalore.

This book is a transliteration from Kannada script into Roman script, written by Pratap Naik and published by Mayolla Publications, Mangalore.
