Mumbai, Jul 22: All is well between the stars and the film makers of the two movies - Bangistan and Dhrishyam despite the fact that both are slated for release on the same day.
Speaking to media persons on the matter, Kya Kool Hain Hum actor Riteish Deshmukh said, “There are only 52 weeks in a year and about 200 films release every year. And according to this, four films should release every week. We’re lucky that only two films are coming. We are getting enough screen space, they (filmmakers) are getting the required screen space, so both are happy releasing it. I’m sure that both are wonderful films."
Riteish also made it very clear that the release of their movies on the same day did not affect his equation with the director of 'Dhrishyam' - Nishikant Kamath. He said, “We love each other and we hope the best for each other." Bangistan also stars Puklit Samrat and Jacqueline Fernandez, while Dhrishyam is the remake of the Malyalam hit movie of the same name. Dhrishyam has Shreya Saran cast opposite Ajay Devgn while Tabu plays a cop in it.
