Mumbai, July 21 (IANS): Comedian-actor Kapil Sharma, who was suffering from a slipped-disc injury, has left for a US-Canada tour along with his team of the "Comedy Nights With Kapil" show.
"De US-Canada tour starts NOW! De rest of the mad gang coming on the next flight .. Wish us luck," Kapil, who had taken a brief break from his show to fully recover, tweeted on Tuesday.
A source close to Kapil told IANS that he is "better" and is expected to come back from the tour by "end of July or early August".
This is not the first time that the show’s host and producer is travelling abroad with his team. Kapil had earlier travelled to Dubai to shoot a special series for the comedy show.
