Koovs announces campaign for fashion students

New Delhi, July 20 (IANS): Online fashion destination Koovs has announced the second edition of "Koovs Goes to College", giving one 'Lucky Ambassador' a chance to pursue a course at the London College of Fashion.

Expanding the horizon, the new season of the campaign will enroll students across three cities Mumbai, Pune and Bengaluru.

The campaign aims to provide students with a platform to showcase their talent and get recognition in the fashion industry. Koovs will handpick about 400 students across the three cities who will get a chance to experience a fashion journey.

“We at Koovs are keen to work with young and upcoming talent. With 'Koovs Goes to College', we aim to explore fresh talent and help them become professionals by providing them mentorship and exposure to the global fashion industry.

"We were overwhelmed with the response received from our first edition and hence we are expanding the horizons further and reaching out to other cities for our second edition," Robert Bready, joint managing director, Koovs.com, said in a statement.

Registrations for the campaign commenced from Monday and will be open till August 15.

Post rigorous series of telephonic interviews, followed by personal interviews, selected students known as the Koovs Style Ambassadors will be enrolled into the programme. The names of the Koovs Style Ambassadors will be announced on August 18.

The first edition, which was held in February this year, had given a chance to students in the capital.
