Former BSFI president P.N. Roy dead


Kolkata, Jul 14 (IANS): Former Billiards and Snooker Federation of India (BSFI) president Pashupatinath Roy died on Monday following cardiac arrest at a nursing home here, a sports official said. He was was 76.

Roy, popularly known as P.N. Roy, is survived by his wife, a daughter and two grand daughters.

Roy ran the West Bengal Billiards Association as its president for over five decades.

He also served the BSFI as secretary and advisor and the Asian body of the game as secretary ad president for some time.
