AIFF to conduct five-day 'Instructor Course'

New Delhi, July 1 (IANS): The All India Football Federation (AIFF) is set to conduct a five-day 'Instructor Course' here from July 2 to 6.

AIFF's head Of referees, Goutam Kar said the course is imperative for Indian instructors. "For instructors to be efficient in their job, that is to train upcoming referees, this course is vital. It helps them to learn various minute details of the refereeing world," he said in a release.

The course which aims to hone the assessing skills of the 34 instructors belonging to level one and two through various interactive exercises, will be orchestrated by Japanese Ishiyama Nobor.

Serving as a platform to share refereeing ideas, the course also targets the evolution of instructors, who in return will train upcoming referees.
