Sushil Kumar joins MS Dhoni's SportsFit chain of gyms


New Delhi, July 1 (PTI): Olympic champion wrestler Sushil Kumar today joined SportsFit -- a chain of gyms founded by Indian cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni.

"The overall perspective towards health and fitness in India must be reworked. Indians are getting aware towards right set of knowledge related to their health and fitness," Sushil said.

"SportFit is doing a wonderful work in the area of offering valuable knowledge and training to individuals in personalised manner. It is my pleasure to extend my support to this wonderful initiative by extending my knowledge in whatever capacities," he added.

In the last three months, SportsFit chain of Gyms has added 32 new locations across India.

While highlighting the key driver for the expansion Sheru Angarish, Director of SportsFit said, "We know that Indian youth wants to stay fit by practicing healthy fitness regimes.

But they lack in proper guidance and coaching and hand holding."

Apart from regular exercise and aerobics classes, the other attraction of SportsFit Gym chain is it's Zumba dance classes and Boxing Training classes.

Introducing Boxing culture at professional level international fame Boxing trainer Nicola Lukac has come to India to train the young Indian boxers and aspirants at SportsFit.
