Mumbai, Jun 29: Billavara association, Mumbai held their 83rd annual general body meeting at Billavara Bhavan, Santacruz east on Sunday June 28. Association honorary president Jaya C Suvarna lit the
traditional lamp and set the meeting in motion. Nithyananda Kotian presided over the meeting and addressed the huge gathering.

Jaya Suvarna, speaking on the occasion said that he is glad that the association and Bharath Bank have progressed together ever since he set foot in them. “The board of directors and senior officials in the
bank have made it possible. The association too should proceed according to the teachings of Narayana guru and I am confident that it will progress under the leadership of young leaders,” he said.

Chief secretary Dr U Dhananjay Kumar welcomed and read the annual report. Joint secretary Dhananjay S Kotian led the prayer and read the minutes of the last annual general body meeting. As per the
regulations of the association, thirty new members were elected for the period 2015-18.
