Justice Y Bhaskar Rao Lokayuktha chief, his deputy Subhash B Adi, ADGP Premshankar Meena, DGI Pranab Mohanty and other top officers held a meeting recently and decide to transfer more than 25 officials who have not been transferred from particular places for a very long time. It is said that the list of these persons has been already sent to the home department.
The meeting unanimously came to the conclusion that ‘Lokayuktha is an institution which has been appointed by the government to cleanse the system from the corruption. Hence the people of the state have lot of faith in the organization. Once they think that Lokayuktha officials themselves are involved in corruption, they do not have any place to go to.
