Moncton (Canada), June 10 (IANS): Fooballer Daniela Montoya grabbed a late equaliser to salvage a 1-1 draw for Colombia against Mexico in the Women's World Cup.
The Group F match here on Tuesday also saw goal-line technology used for the first time at the women's tournament when Veronica Perez's 36th minute shot was pushed onto the crossbar by Colombia goalkeeper Stefany Castano, which actually crossed the line, reports Xinhua.
Montoya levelled the score eight minutes from time with a strike from just outside the penalty area.
