Puttur, Jun 3: The news that some villages near Puttur, which are situated in Kerala state, are actively involved in recruitment and training of cadres, has sent some shockwaves in the border region.
As per sources, central intelligence agencies have started investigating this matter.
The central agencies have taken the matter seriously after they received reports that some unnamed banned organizations are trying to lure the innocent youth in the region. It is also believed that the recruited members are trained there.
Some villages in Kasargod taluk which borders with Karnataka and villages of Manjeri taluk in Malappuram district of Kerala are preferred places for recruitment and training for some banned organizations. These places are considered ideal for their purposes, as per sources.
The central agencies that have the reliable information on this explosive matter have already reached the region and are secretly investigating to find the truth.
