Paris, May 29 (IANS/EFE): Scotland's Andy Murray, ranked 3rd in the world, succeeded in advancing to the third round of the French Open after beating Portugal's Joao Sousa 6-2, 4-6, 6-4, 6-1.
In spite of a setback in the second set, Murray was able to come back to win the match on Thursday.
Murray, who won two clay tournaments -- Munich and Madrid -- this year, will play against Australian Nick Kyrgios in the third round of Roland Garros.
Kyrgios qualified after his British opponent Kyle Edmund withdrew from the tournament.
