Chennai, May 26 (IANS): Tamil Nadu's Darshana Vasudevan enjoyed a dream run here on Tuesday in the ISA Open junior squash tournament as she swept aside two higher seeded opponents to earn a semi-final berth.
Darshana, an under-15 Indian Squash Academy trainee, first defeated Abhilasha Bhasin in the round of 16 and then got past Jefffrey Bianca in the quarter-final, winning both matches in straight games.
Among the top seeds on view, Harishit Kaur had the shortest stay on court winning over Hema Dhanya, conceding just one point in three games in the girls Under-19 section.
