Mumbai, May 20 (IANS): Following successful hosting of the Indian Premier League (IPL) fan parks in Allahabad during Qualifier 1 in which Mumbai Indians beat Chennai Super Kings, the carnival now moves to Bhopal and Nashik for the last two matches of the tournament.
Cricket fans in Bhopal will have the opportunity to watch Qualifier 2, to be played between Chennai Super Kings and the winner of the Eliminator, on Friday.
Nashik will become the 15th city to host the fan park on Sunday. Fans based in the city will have the opportunity to savour the final which will be played between Mumbai Indians and the winner of Qualifier 2, at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
"The two cities will host the IPL fan parks. The gates for the same will open at 6 p.m. on both days," Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) secretary Anurag Thakur said on Wednesday.
Bhopal School of Social Science, Habib Ganj, and Shree Chhatrapati Shivaji Stadium, Mahatma Gandhi Road, in Nashik will be the two venues.
