Mangalore, Apr 4: Karnataka Bank has secured a total business turnover of Rs 23,500 crore at the end of the financial year 2006-07. This was announced by Bank chairman Ananthakrishna while addressing the Bank members here on Tuesday April 3.
He also chalked out the plans and targets for the forthcoming financial year and said that the Bank will aim at a turnover of 28,500 crore by March 2008. He also revealed that the Bank will open more branches and install 50 more ATMs.
Introduction of online trading for capital market products, student cards, mobile top-ups and online air ticket bookings are some of its other plans, he said.
