Mangalore, Apr 2: “God does not only need mere devotion but an open and faithful heart,” said Dr Santhosh Kumar Shetty.
He was speaking after honouring bollywood star Sunil Shetty at Shree Durgaparameshwari Temple premises at Kateel near Kinnigoli here on Sunday April 1.
Sunil Shetty who had come to the temple on a personal visit was honoured. Earlier Shetty participated in devotional rites and rituals at Kateel Temple. After the felicitation Sunil Shetty left for Mumbai.
Deputy commissioner M Maheshwar Rao, N B Vijay Ballal, main priest of Shree Janardhana Mahakali Temple, Ambalpadi, Udupi and Kateel Junior college lecturer Parmeshwar Hebbar were also present on this occasion.
