Panaji, Mar 30: An exhibition of paintings by 5 young artists from Bijapur in Karnataka was inaugurated In Kala Academy’s art gallery here on Thursday, March 29.

Art being appreciated

B K Badiger, Ramesh Chavan, A S Kakhandaki, Dr Shashikala Hugar and R H Patil have exhibited some of their outstanding works at the exhibition.

The artists have used different mediums in their work like water colours, acrylic on canvas and oil on canvas.

The exhibition comprises of landscapes, portraits and paintings.

It was inaugurated by Dr Jerson Fernandes and it will remain open until April 1.
