Riyadh, May 12 (Emirates 247) : Saudi civil defence men had to cut open a washing machine to rescue a three-year-old boy trapped inside after he jumped in while playing at his home in the Gulf kingdom.
The boy was pulled out safely at dawn after he was caught inside for several hours despite attempts by his parents to drag him out.
“He was released safely after our men cut open the machine with special tools…the operation lasted just around 15 minutes,” ‘Sabq’ Arabic language newspaper said in a report from the eastern port of Ras Tanura, quoting civil defence spokesman Colonel Mansour Al Dousari.
